Finshare currently supports participation via common shares, preferred shares, GmbH shares (with and without voting rights), option models (ESOP/VSOP) and phantom shares. It is also possible to manage shares held through employee participation vehicles.
We are continuously working on new forms of participation, such as convertible loans, profit-participation rights, restricted stock units (RSUs) or Simple Agreements for Future Equity (SAFE). No – we deliberately decided against calculating the company value within Finshare. From numerous M&A and other corporate transactions, we know how important flexibility in valuation is.
In Finshare you can store your valuations for each defined reference date and track them over a historical period, e.g. across different financing rounds. You store the associated financial model with each valuation in document management.
Yes, in principle Finshare can also be used by internationally operating companies. Please note, however, that some functions need to be adapted locally. This may require customising effort and legal advice in the country of use.
